European Commentaries
All material translated by the Western translators and commentators should be considered as TRASH. It is very difficult to segregate the right and malicious writings in their work. This is because of two reasons:-
A) They had very poor understanding of the Vedic Sanskrit. They picked the (poorly translated) versions of Sayana, Mahidhar, etc... and made it further barberic with their poor understanding of even the basic sanskrit.
B) They had malicious intentions. They wanted to spread Chritianity and one of the ways they got is to malign out scripts by poor translations. Today, many of us refer their dirty translations and are already a trap to these people, the seeds which they sowed some 150 years ago.
We will first give instances of the very very poor translations that these people have done. And the give evidences that we could find proving their malicious intentions.
INSTANCES OF POOR TRANSLATIONS:-
1) Rig Veda says "Krunvanto Vishwam Aryam". ( 9.63.5).
"Performing every noble work, active, augmenting Indra's strength,
Driving away the godless ones." (Griffith's translation)

"Augmenting Indra,urging the waters,making all our acts prsperous,destroying witholders of oblatins" (Wilson)
Now the phrase is not even typical Vedic Sanskrit. It is a very simple phrase to translate.But to Griffith the words "Krunvanto" and "Vishwam" do not exist. To Wilson, all three words do not exist in the verse. The cardinal mimansa rule of interpreation is "Yatha Vachanam Tatha vachanikam" (Read it as it is without adding anything or subtracting anything).Messrs.Wilson and Griffith discard this rule. Probably, the motive is to paint the word "Aryan" as racist. Translating the words as "Ennoble the whole world" would mean they cannot attribute racist connotations to the word.

EVIDENCES PROVING THE MALICIOUS INTENT OF THE WESTERN TRANSLATORS OF VEDIC GRANTH
1) LETTER OF FAMOUS INDOLOGIST SIR WILLIAM JONES to SIR WARREN HASTINGS, GOVERNER GENERAL OF INDIA
THE FOLLOWING LETTER OF FAMOUS INDOLOGIST SIR WILLIAM JONES CLEARLY EXPOSES THE INTENTION OF INDOLOGIST LIKE GRIFFATH AND OTHERS TO MISTRANSLATE VEDAS TO CONVERT HINDUS TO CHRISTIANITY THAT IS WHY THIS MISSIONARIES SAY THAT THERE IS MENTION OF JESUS IN VEDAS WHICH IN ORIGINAL TRANSLATION THERE IS NO SUCH PREDICTION
In 1784, the famous Indologist Sir William Jones wrote the following letter to Sir Warren Hastings, Governor General of India, confirming our suspicions that this was indeed part of their program:
“As to the general extension [spreading] of our pure faith [Christianity] in Hindoostan [India] there are at present many sad obstacles to it… We may assure ourselves, that Hindoos will never be converted by any mission from the church of Rome, or from any other church; and the only human mode, perhaps, of causing so great a revolution, will be to translate into Sanscrit… such chapters of the Prophets, particularly of ISAIAH, as are indisputably evangelical, together with one of the gospels, and a plain prefatory discourse, containing full evidence of the very distant ages, in which the predictions themselves, and the history of the Divine Person (Jesus) is predicted, were severally made public and then quietly to disperse the work among the well-educated natives.” (Asiatic Researches Vol. 1. Published 1979, pages 234-235. First published 1788).
2) Monier Williams Dictionary of Sanskrit-English
If you read Introduction to Monier Williams Dictionary of Sanskrit-English, he clearly admits that the Boden Chair was established to convert the Indians to Christianity. This Boden Chair of Oxford funded all the research work of Indologists. He also admitted that the purpose of his dictionary was to help missionaries spread Christianity. You can find innumerable evidences in his dictionary that exhibit his unhidden agenda.
